Allowance Tracker

Each child gets a card with a running balance, a savings goal, and a progress bar showing how close they are. Every deposit and every purchase is recorded as a line in the ledger, so it is always clear where the money went.

• Add a child: use Add Child, then click the name to rename it. Set that child's weekly allowance and savings goal in the fields at the top of their card.
• Pay allowance: tap Pay Allowance to add this week's amount to the balance as a ledger entry — great to do every Saturday, or whenever chores are done.
• Log spending & deposits: type a note and an amount, then choose Spent or Added. Spending lowers the balance; deposits (gifts, extra earnings) raise it.
• Track the goal: the progress bar fills as the balance approaches the savings goal and turns green when the goal is reached. Set the goal to 0 to hide it.
• Stays private: the currency, every child, and every ledger entry are saved automatically in your browser's localStorage — close the tab and it is all still here next time.

Everything runs in your browser. No names, amounts, or ledger entries are ever uploaded to a server.
